Long Beach Trade Show Booth Rentals

The builder, not the broker.

Custom exhibition stands and booth rentals from the company that actually fabricates them — design through dismantle on one fixed, contractual number, signed before we start and unchanged when it ends. The venue’s own charges get estimated against your booth before you commit, so the total isn’t a discovery.

Builder, not broker

You searched for a booth builder. Good instinct.

Plenty of “exhibit companies” serving Long Beach are sales offices — the design gets subcontracted one way, the construction another, and every hand-off adds margin, lead time and a place for your spec to drift. When something needs changing two weeks out, your vendor emails their vendor.

We’re the other kind: a booth construction company with its own fabrication floor, print line and design team under one roof. The person who drew your reveal detail works forty feet from the person cutting it. That’s why our revisions move in days, our fixed price can actually stay fixed, and every booth stands complete in our shop — and gets photographed for your approval — before it ships to Long Beach.

01

Our shop, our hands

Structure, millwork, graphics and wiring fabricated in-house — not brokered to whichever shop had capacity. One accountable builder from drawing to dismantle.

02

No margin stack

Every subcontract layer in a brokered booth adds its markup and its lead time. Removing the middle is how a fully custom build lands at a published fixed price.

03

Construction-grade, show-ready

Built like a structure, finished like a showroom: engineered connections, managed cabling, print QC — then a complete test assembly before anything reaches a truck.

04

Change orders that aren’t

Because designer and fabricator share a floor, mid-project changes are conversations, not billing events. Design revisions are unlimited inside the fixed price.

The second invoice

The delta your post-show audit always finds

Run the numbers on most exhibit projects after the show and the same delta appears: final spend versus approved quote, up a quarter or more. The venue didn’t cause it — venue charges are tariffed and predictable. The exhibit house did, in hourly labour that “ran over,” design help re-billed as change orders, and reprints priced like emergencies. One 20×20 island in Long Beach, both ways:

Typical exhibit house
Quoted before you signed$29,000
Install & dismantle labour overrun+ $3,400
Change orders from design rounds+ $2,400
Rush graphics and reprints+ $1,300
Site supervision, hourly+ $1,100
Actually paid$37,200
28% above the quote
Pure Exhibits
Quoted before you signed$32,000
Install & dismantle labourIncluded
Design roundsUnlimited
Graphics productionIncluded
Site supervisionIncluded
Actually paid$32,000
Exactly the quote

On the venue’s invoice in both scenarios: space, electrical, drayage, rigging, cleaning, internet — the show’s charges, tariffed and identical whoever builds for you. A vendor who “includes” them has buried them. We forecast each line for your booth up front and place the orders before the advance-rate window closes.

We quote higher and cost less. Audit us on it — the final invoice matching the quote is the deliverable.

Long Beach Convention Center · 300 E Ocean Blvd

Three halls, one waterfront campus, and clear centers built for islands

The Center’s three exhibition halls run separately or combine into 224,000 square feet of contiguous floor — and the columns sit at the perimeter, which keeps the central floor clean for island builds. It’s a genuinely walkable campus too: downtown waterfront, hotels and restaurants on foot, which changes how hospitality-heavy booths get used. Here’s what matters hall by hall.

Halls A · B · C

Up to 224,000 sq ft contiguous · perimeter columns

Run individually for focused shows or opened into one footprint for the big ones. Clear centers reward islands; the moderate hall depth means sightlines are shorter than a mega-center’s — graphics carry more of the job than height does.

The docks

A: 5 bays + ramp · B: 3 bays · C: 8 bays + ramp

Every hall has its own dock, and which one your freight lands at is set by the show’s plan. We schedule to the assigned dock’s reality — Hall C’s eight bays move differently from Hall B’s three — so your install window isn’t spent waiting in a marshalling line.

Rigging & services

Rigging via LA Stage Call · power via the GSC

Hanging signs and overhead elements run exclusively through the house rigger, coordinated with the general service contractor — as do booth power drops. We file both inside the advance-rate window and engineer anything overhead to the house rules from the first drawing.

What we run for you here
  • Hall and dock confirmation before anything books
  • Floor plan filings and venue approvals
  • Rigging engineering to the house contractor’s rules
  • Electrical and drayage ordered at advance rates
  • COI and contractor paperwork per venue
  • Supervised install, show-day support, dismantle
The right-size floor · why strategy changes

At 224,000 square feet, Long Beach is a focused venue, not a mega-center — and booths that win here are designed to that scale. Aisles are tighter and walk-bys are closer, so print quality and lighting read at conversation distance; 10×10 through 20×20 footprints do most of the work; and a 20×20 island with clean sightlines can anchor a hall in a way it never could in a 700,000-square-foot room. We design to the floor you’re actually on — which is the whole point of designing at all.

The port-city section

Flying in? We speak exhibition stand.

Long Beach sits on one of the world’s great harbors, and its shows draw exhibitors who plan in metric, budget in other currencies, and call the booth an exhibition stand. If that’s your team, most of what surprises overseas exhibitors about American shows is exactly what a turnkey stand builder exists to absorb:

01

US-spec, translated

110-volt power, imperial footprints (a 3×3 is a 10×10 here), US fire-rating and structural rules — your existing stand design gets re-engineered to American specifications, or we design fresh from your brand guidelines.

02

The paperwork nobody warns you about

Drayage, union labour jurisdictions, EACs, COIs and show-services deadlines are peculiar to US venues. We run all of it as standard — the same service every domestic client gets, which for an overseas team is the difference between exhibiting and improvising.

03

Approve it from anywhere

Your stand is built complete in our shop and photographed — or walked on live video — for sign-off before it ships. You see the finished build from another timezone, and land to a stand that’s already standing.

Exhibiting across California? Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego and San Francisco run on the same published fixed model — one stand design, one project manager, and every city’s price known before your US calendar starts.

Long Beach show calendar

When to start, by show

Long Beach’s fixed points, with the planning runway each realistically needs. Around these, the Center carries a steady rotation of corporate meetings, association shows and consumer events — name yours and we’ll pull its manual before we quote. Exhibiting the wider region too? See the top trade shows in Los Angeles.

Grand Prix week gets five months, not four — race week takes over downtown, activations run outdoors on the circuit as well as on the Center campus, and street closures rewrite freight access for everyone. Temporary outdoor structures also carry engineering that indoor display booths don’t.

Working backwards

The calendar that matters runs in reverse

Show dates don’t create cost pressure — order deadlines do, and the decisive one closes roughly eight weeks out, when advance rates on electrical, rigging and drayage expire. Everything else in the plan exists to arrive at that gate comfortably.

−6 MONTHSScope agreed, fixed figure signed, design begins.
−4 MONTHSHall confirmed; layout submitted for approval.
−10 WEEKSArtwork frozen and moved into print.
−8 WEEKSAdvance rates on show services expire. The gate everything aims at.
−4 WEEKSFreight slot and dock time locked to the current campus plan.
−2 WEEKSComplete build stands in our shop; photo sign-off.
SHOW WEEKInstall lands in your window; you arrive to a working booth.
Rush and last-minute

A month out is workable

Late vendor collapse, a show slot that opened up, a budget approved behind schedule — with design, fabrication and print in one building, a Long Beach booth can go approval-to-floor in about four weeks. Same quality gate (built and photographed before shipping), same printed price. Compressed timelines are our scheduling problem, not your surcharge.

  • Roughly four weeks, approval to show floor
  • Photo-verified pre-build, even on rush
  • 10×10 through 20×40 on compressed timelines
  • The published price holds — no rush premium
Questions exhibitors actually ask

Long Beach booth rental FAQs

How much does a trade show booth rental cost in Long Beach?
The table above is the answer: $14,000–$16,000 for a 10×10 through $63,000–$74,500 for a 30×40 — design, build, graphics, freight, crews and management in one contractual figure. The venue bills space, electrical, drayage and rigging separately to every exhibitor; we forecast those lines for your booth before you sign.
Are you the actual builder, or a broker?
The builder. Design, fabrication, print and wiring happen in our own shop, by our own team — nothing is subcontracted to a third-party stand builder. It’s why revisions move in days, the fixed price holds, and your booth can stand complete for photo approval before it ships.
Do I see the booth design before I commit?
Yes — a photorealistic 3D design revised until you approve, at no charge. Then the finished booth stands complete in our shop and you sign off on photographs of it before it ships to Long Beach. The design conversation happens before the money conversation closes, not after.
Is freight to Long Beach included?
Round trip, inside the fixed price, never a line item. And because your booth stands complete for photo approval before it ships, what reaches the dock is a verified build rather than a kit of parts and hope.
We’re an international exhibitor — can you build our exhibition stand to US specifications?
Yes — that’s routine here. We re-engineer existing stand designs to US power, fire-rating and structural rules, or design fresh from your brand guidelines; handle drayage, union labour, EACs and COIs; and give you photo or live-video sign-off on the finished stand from any timezone before it ships.
Does it matter which hall my booth is in?
Yes — mostly for freight and rigging. Halls A, B and C each have their own dock (five, three and eight bays respectively), and which one your show assigns shapes the install schedule. Columns sit at the hall perimeters, so island sightlines are clean in all three. We confirm hall and dock before design starts.
Can you build double-deck booths at the Long Beach Convention Center?
Yes, where the footprint, the hall’s clearances and the show’s rules allow — typically from 20×20 up. Two-storey builds add structural drawings, venue engineering review and coordination with the house rigging contractor, all of which we run as part of the job.
What sizes work best on this floor?
10×10, 10×20 and 20×20 do most of the work at Long Beach’s focused shows — tight, graphics-forward footprints suit the hall scale, and a clean 20×20 island can anchor a room here. Larger builds absolutely run when the show calls for them; the full range is in the table above, each size linked to its Long Beach catalog.
Will a rental read as custom on the floor?
The structure is modular; every surface a visitor sees — graphics, lighting, finishes, layout — is designed for your brand. The gallery above is all rentals. You judge for yourself before it ships, from photographs of your actual booth standing in our shop.
Do you also cover Los Angeles, Anaheim and San Diego?
All of California, on the same published fixed model — one booth design, one project manager, and a known price in each city, so a multi-show California year budgets in a single sitting. Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego and San Francisco each have their own page with local pricing.
Who’s with us during move-in and the show?
Our install supervisor runs your move-in window on the floor, and your project manager stays reachable through every show day. Pre-verified builds make move-in quiet — and when the floor produces a surprise anyway, the people who built the booth are the ones responding.
