NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) Trade Show Booth Rentals

The people walking this floor build houses for a living. They will judge your booth’s construction before they judge your product.

Fixed-price IBS exhibits — design, fabrication, graphics, freight, installation and dismantle in one number that doesn’t move. Pre-built, lit and photo-approved before it ships, so the booth that greets eighty-five thousand building professionals at the LVCC has already stood up once, powered and checked, on our floor.

The kind of booth builders and designers take seriously

IBS draws builders, remodelers, architects and dealers who spend their working lives judging finish quality, joinery and how a product installs — and who can tell a well-made structure from a printed backwall in about three seconds. The work below is what we build for product and technology brands: custom structures designed around the installed product and the working demonstration, with materials that hold up to a builder’s hand, and every project moving through one team from first rendering to dismantle.

Know the floor before you plan the booth

IBS isn’t one show. It’s two, on one badge, across one enormous campus.

IBS fills its own halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center — NAHB describes the floor as the size of forty football fields — while KBIS runs in adjacent halls the same week under the Design & Construction Week banner, and a single badge admits attendees to both. The exhibitors are placed by product segment, so which segment you land in decides who walks past you before your design does. This edition is also the show’s return to Las Vegas after a year in Orlando, with the venue locked in through the end of the decade. The most expensive IBS mistake isn’t a bad booth; it’s a beautiful one in the wrong hall with a windows demo that nobody can open.

LVCC — segments decide traffic

Product zones · adjacent KBIS halls

IBS organises its floor into product segments — construction tools and systems, interior finishings, outdoor living, business services, an international pavilion — and large-format and outdoor products carry their own minimums and floor-load rules. Freight moves through the LVCC’s marshalling yard on target times, and your hall assignment decides your dock before it decides anything else. We plan the booth to the segment and the hall, book the target time, and put a supervisor on the door.

Product you can touch, open and stand on

Windows · doors · appliances · decking

Builders come to operate the product: swing the door, slide the window, walk the decking, open the appliance. A booth that works here behaves like a model home — installed product at real heights, structure that carries real weight, working demonstrations under proper light, and somewhere to sit down with a dealer. We engineer the structure around the installed product, calculate the power and floor-load it needs, and file the orders early so nothing is dark or roped off on day one.

The December calendar

The holidays sit inside your build

An early-February show means the advance-order deadlines land in the first days of December, which means the approvals happen in November and the build runs through Christmas — while the Las Vegas freight and labour calendar is already stacked for CES, World of Concrete and SHOT Show in the weeks just before you. The real deadline for a locked design is late November. Miss it and you’re not late, you’re paying floor rates for electrical, rigging and material handling while chasing sign-offs through the holidays.

What we handle at the LVCC
  • Hall- and segment-specific design — sightlines planned for your actual placement
  • Layout submission and show approval, including hanging signs and floor-load details, filed early
  • Electrical, rigging and material handling orders calculated and filed at advance rates
  • Union labour coordination and on-site supervision
  • COI, EAC and exhibitor-manual deadlines mapped to our calendar
  • Marshalling-yard target times, dismantle, pack and outbound freight
Billed by the show, not by us

Booth space, electrical, drayage, rigging and cleaning are billed to every exhibitor directly by the show, the venue or the show’s general contractor — no exhibit house can absorb them and none should claim to. What we do is calculate them for your exact booth before you commit, and file every order at advance rather than floor rates.

  • Booth space
  • Electrical drops and floor distribution
  • Material handling (drayage)
  • Rigging, if you’re hanging a sign
  • Daily cleaning · internet
Why a fixed price matters most here

The budget you present in autumn should survive February

Trade show invoices have a habit of growing between quote and show: labour hours over estimate, revisions rebilled as change orders, graphics reprints, supervision time nobody flagged. Our model is the opposite — the number you approve is the number you pay, contractually. Design revisions are unlimited until you approve. The quote and the final invoice are the same document.

01

One number, and it holds

Design, fabrication, graphics, furniture, lighting, freight, installation, dismantle and project management in a single fixed price.

02

Proven before it ships

Your booth stands fully assembled and lit at our 65,000 sq ft facility, and you approve photographs of the actual build — not a render.

03

Show costs, known up front

Space, electrical, drayage and rigging calculated for your exact booth before you commit — so the total is a number, not a range.

04

The paperwork is ours

COI, EAC, electrical, network, rigging, freight windows — filed at advance rates, mapped to every exhibitor-manual deadline. Nothing lands on your desk three days before it’s due.

We quote higher and cost less. That’s the whole argument, and it’s why every booth below is published with its price rather than hidden behind a “request a quote” form.

Working backwards from February

Your real deadline is late November

The advance-order cutoff lands roughly eight weeks before the show — the exact date is in the facts strip at the top of this page, and it updates automatically each edition. For an early-February show that puts the binding constraint in the first days of December, which in practice means before Thanksgiving: the build then runs through the holidays and into a Las Vegas January already booked solid with CES, World of Concrete and SHOT Show.

AUG–SEPTBrief, concepts and the fixed price locked. Full design freedom.

Five questions to ask anyone quoting your IBS booth

Put these to every exhibit house you’re comparing — including us. They separate the vendors that stand behind a number from the ones whose estimate is an opening position. Our answers are printed here so you can hold us to them.

1 Will you put the total price in writing before I sign — and hold it? Ours: yes. Every booth on this page is published with its price. The quote and the final invoice are the same number, contractually. Printed above · hold us to it
2 Do design revisions become change orders? Ours: never. Revisions are unlimited until you approve, and the price is locked before design starts — a better idea in October costs nothing.
3 Will I see my actual booth before it ships — or a render? Ours: the actual booth, fully assembled, powered and lit at our facility, photographed for your sign-off before it leaves for Las Vegas. Renders are promises; photographs are evidence.
4 Who files my advance show orders, and at which rate? Ours: we do, at advance rates, mapped to every exhibitor-manual deadline. Building products arrive heavy — pallets of doors, windows, cabinetry, decking — so material handling at IBS is one of the largest lines on your bill, and the advance-versus-floor spread is real money. If a vendor can’t answer this immediately, that’s your answer.
5 We exhibit at both IBS and KBIS. Can one booth programme cover both halls? Ours: yes, and it’s the smart way to work Design & Construction Week. One badge admits attendees to both floors, so we design a modular structure that installs as two booths in two halls — or one larger presence in the hall where your buyers actually are — on one fixed price, one freight movement and one project manager. Ask any vendor whether their two quotes share a crew, or just a logo.

Questions IBS exhibitors actually ask

IBS booth rental FAQs

How much does an IBS booth rental cost?
Every booth on this page is published with its Las Vegas price — fixed and all-inclusive: design, fabrication, graphics, furniture, freight, labour coordination and project management. Separately, NAHB, the LVCC and the show’s general contractor bill you directly for booth space, electrical, material handling, rigging and cleaning; we calculate those for your exact booth before you commit, so the total is known before you sign anything.
When should I book a booth for the Builders’ Show?
Lock your design by late November. The advance-order deadlines for an early-February show land in the first days of December, and the build then runs through the holidays — start the conversation in late summer for full design freedom. The exact advance-order deadline for the next edition is in the facts strip at the top of this page and updates automatically.
What’s move-in like at the Las Vegas Convention Center during Design & Construction Week?
Two shows are moving into adjacent halls at once, and freight moves through the LVCC’s marshalling yard on scheduled target times — trucks that miss their slot wait, and waiting during move-in is expensive. Your segment and hall assignment decide your dock and route. We book your freight window early, route the truck to the correct hall, and put an install supervisor on site so your team never has to learn the venue’s logistics themselves.
Our product is heavy and has to be installed — windows, doors, cabinetry, decking. Can the booth carry it?
Yes, and it’s the most important planning conversation for an IBS booth. We engineer the structure around the installed product — framing that takes real loads, mounts at real installation heights, working demonstrations, and the floor-load and rigging details the show needs to approve — then verify everything against the booth as built on our floor, so your product operates the way it would in a house when the doors open.
Will a rental look custom, or will it look reused?
Every booth is fabricated for your brand — custom graphics, layout, lighting and finishes on a modular structure underneath. The builds shown above are rentals. Before yours ships, it stands fully assembled and lit at our facility and you approve photographs of the actual booth, not a render.
Can we reuse the booth we built for Orlando in Las Vegas?
The concept, yes — the plan, no. Hall assignment, ceiling height, floor loading, labour rules and freight routing are all different at the LVCC, and the show is settled in Las Vegas through the end of the decade, so this is the year to design for the building you’ll be in. We redraw the booth to the actual hall and refile every order against the new exhibitor manual.
What happens if something goes wrong during move-in?
Your project manager and our install supervisor are on site through move-in and reachable across show days. Because everything was assembled and checked before shipping, the problems that usually surface at this stage — missing hardware, graphics that don’t fit, mounts that won’t take the product — have already been found and fixed on our floor, weeks earlier.
A vendor just fell through. How fast can you deliver an IBS booth?
Four to six weeks from approval to show floor for complete pre-built, photo-verified booths from 10×10 through 20×40 — at the same fixed price as a six-month lead time, with no rush surcharge. For a February show the constraint is the holiday freight window, not our build: the earlier in the autumn you call, the more of that window sits at advance rather than floor rates.
Do you handle events off the show floor — dealer dinners, hospitality suites, showroom activations?
Yes — hotel suites, dealer dinners and satellite activations along the Strip run under the same fixed-price model, coordinated by the same project manager as your booth.
