iboss · Black Hat USA 2026
Every booth at Black Hat was selling AI. iboss built 400 square feet that put AI on the record.
iboss came to Black Hat USA 2026 with a sharp position: AI-Powered SASE that captures every prompt, every upload and every conversation employees have with ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Grok and Claude. Pure Exhibits built the 20 × 20 island that made the argument in the round — a four-sided hanging sign, a seated theater with a backlit screen wall, three question pillars, and a Data Sovereignty room behind a door.
Four hundred square feet, four hard questions
A 20 × 20 at Black Hat sits in the middle of the Business Hall with traffic on all four sides and a hanging sign as its only claim on the skyline. The neighbours were AvePoint, DataDome, Kindo and Island, each with more floor. iboss did not need more floor; it needed a booth that could hold a specific, provocative argument — that most SASE stacks are stitched together from acquisitions and cannot see what employees are telling AI — and deliver it to a security buyer in the two minutes they were willing to give.
The brief from iboss’s marketing team was unusually precise. Four questions a competitor’s stack cannot answer. A pillar per question. A theater to answer them live. Named AI tools on the wall, not generic icons. And a door marked Data Sovereignty for the one-to-one conversations with regulated buyers. Pure Exhibits’ job was to fit all of it in 400 square feet without the island reading as cluttered from the aisle.

A question on every pillar, an answer in the theater
The Four-Sided Hanging Sign
A square fabric sign with the iboss mark on every face and a blue band carrying a different line on each: AI-Powered SASE. Every AI Prompt. On the Record. Retire Your SD-WAN Vendor. Pay for Intelligence, Not Bandwidth. From any aisle the brand is the same and the argument is different — the whole pitch in four sentences, readable from across the hall.
The AI Tools Pillar
The pillar facing the main aisle names the tools by logo — ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, Claude — under the line “Your employees are sharing secrets with AI. We capture every conversation.” Naming the products people actually use, rather than “GenAI,” is what stopped a CISO mid-stride. Its green twin on the opposite corner runs a live screen: every AI tool, every user, every prompt.
“Can Your Stack Answer These?”
The blue pillar carries four questions: does your DLP inspect all encrypted traffic or sample it; can you stop the AI app that launched this morning; can you tie every prompt to a user, verbatim; can one policy run in the cloud and your data center. Then the answer — “iboss: Yes, four for four” — and an invitation: live in the theater. The pillar sells the seat.
The Theater
A backlit arch wall — iboss Named a Leader in SASE, GigaOm Radar 2026 — frames a large screen with speakers either side, a white lectern, and six white cubes on light wood flooring. The panel below the screen asks “Is your PII in Claude right now?” Sessions ran on the hour; between them the cubes were where the hard conversations happened, in the open, ten feet from the aisle.
The Argument Wall
The long face of the structure is a single printed panel: “Stitched Together Isn’t a Platform.” Theirs: acquired parts, separate policy engines, a data lake AI can’t connect. Ours: one engine, one data lake, under everything. Four capabilities underneath — DLP on every AI engagement, AI usage intelligence, AI CASB for vibe-coded apps, DLP to the network layer — and the closer: AI without unified signals is just guessing.
The Door Marked Data Sovereignty
Behind the argument wall is a closed room reached through a door printed “Data Sovereignty. Built In. Your data. Your jurisdiction. Ask about a Sovereign SASE 1:1.” It doubles as storage and as the private meeting space for public-sector and regulated buyers — the conversation that does not happen on a white cube. A green Vibe-Coded Threats kiosk with a live demo screen closes the third corner.

The build at a glance
Small island, no wasted face
A 20 × 20 island has four exposed sides and no back wall to hide the storage. This one uses every face: the theater on one, the argument wall on another, pillars on the corners and the storage room dressed as the Data Sovereignty door. The hanging sign does the long-range work so the structure below could stay low and open; white with a single green and blue accent, it reads as calm in a hall that is anything but.
