Case Study
M.C. Dean
A floating white canopy arched over the ISC West 2026 floor as cyan LED tube columns blazed at every corner — announcing Building Intelligence® to 29,000 security professionals at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas
Pure Exhibits designed and built the M.C. Dean custom 20×30 ft island exhibit at ISC West 2026 — The Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, March 25–27, 2026 — creating an architectural showcase anchored by a dramatic arched portal entry and a brilliant backlit floating canopy sign. Four branded navy kiosk towers delivered live product demos across Vision AI, IoT Access Control, Mobile Credentials, and Lifecycle Management, while the debut of InfraLink Pass drew steady crowds. An interior meeting zone with lime-green accent cushions and fiddle-leaf figs offered a welcoming respite for the first-ever M.C. Dean Executive Customer Forum — all unified by M.C. Dean’s teal-and-white identity to announce the nation’s foremost cyber-physical systems integrator to the global security industry.
The Challenge
From Invisible to Unmissable
ISC West 2025 marked M.C. Dean’s first-ever exhibit hall booth — a deliberate step into a market where awareness of their capabilities lagged far behind the quality of their work. The challenge for ISC West 2026 was to dramatically amplify that presence: build a booth that not only announced M.C. Dean but demonstrated the full depth of their Building Intelligence® platform across multiple product categories simultaneously.
Security integrators and enterprise end-users needed to experience — not just hear about — Vision AI’s intelligent video analysis, IoT Access Control’s open architecture, Mobile Credentials’ digital wallet access, and the brand-new InfraLink Pass, all in a 600 sq ft footprint competing against 750+ exhibitors on the ISC West floor.
“Building Intelligence® means solving complexity before clients ever encounter it — the booth needed to make that invisible expertise viscerally visible.”
— Julaine Simmons, SVP Security & Electronic Systems, M.C. DeanThe answer: an architectural installation that felt less like a trade show booth and more like a mission-critical facility — a space that used form to communicate function before a single conversation began.
The Design
Architecture as Identity
Arched Portal Entry
The defining architectural gesture of the exhibit: a large suspended white canopy with a graceful upward arch at the entry face — a gateway that communicated capability before visitors crossed the threshold. Flanked by white structural columns wrapped in four to five brilliant cyan LED tubes running floor-to-ceiling, the arched portal created a futuristic luminous threshold visible from multiple aisles across the Venetian Expo floor.
Floating Overhead Canopy
An 18–20 ft wide rectangular suspended sign box with brilliant white backlit fascia on all four faces. “M.C. DEAN / BUILDING INTELLIGENCE®” and the geometric arc logo claimed the airspace, while the canopy’s underside carried an animated blue-to-green gradient technology icon band — cameras, padlocks, circuit nodes, and gear symbols — reinforcing the booth’s cyber-physical identity from every approach angle.
Four Branded Kiosk Towers
Four navy-blue freestanding display towers — approximately 8 ft tall with embedded 55″ monitors — each dedicated to a distinct product zone: Vision AI, IoT Access Control, Mobile Credentials, and Lifecycle Management. A QR code on the Mobile Credentials panel enabled instant digital wallet demonstrations, while the “Build!” Website Configurator kiosk invited visitors to design their own security infrastructure interactively.
InfraLink Pass — World Debut
ISC West 2026 was the launch venue for InfraLink Pass — M.C. Dean’s new product that bridges physical access infrastructure and digital identity. The booth design positioned this launch prominently alongside M.C. Dean’s first-ever Executive Customer Forum, hosting 150+ industry attendees for private product briefings. The navy dot-matrix and binary data-flow texture pattern across all panel tower lower sections visually connected every demo zone under a unified “data-in-motion” aesthetic.
Materials & Brand Palette
Deep navy/cobalt blue panels, brilliant white structural columns, cyan/teal LED accent lighting, and a blue-to-lime-green gradient on the canopy underside composed M.C. Dean’s full brand spectrum. Light gray polished interior flooring grounded the space, while a rich dark navy area rug at the entry threshold defined the welcome zone. Lime-green accent cushions and two to three large fiddle-leaf plants in white pots introduced organic warmth and an unexpected pop of color that matched the gradient’s bright end.
STI Partner Integration
Safety Technology International (STI) was featured inside the booth with a co-branded demonstration area — extending M.C. Dean’s ecosystem story from systems integration to end-to-end product and services partnerships. The STI integration was positioned to reinforce M.C. Dean’s role as an integrator that designs, builds, operates, and maintains complete cyber-physical solutions rather than supplying individual components.
The Build
Transforming Tomorrow,
One Booth at a Time
The completed M.C. Dean island exhibit at ISC West 2026 — Booth #30045, The Venetian Expo, Las Vegas. The arched portal entry with its cyan LED tube columns, floating overhead canopy, and four branded kiosk towers created a destination space at the heart of the security industry’s premier gathering.

The Impact
Building Intelligence® Made Visible
M.C. Dean arrived at ISC West 2026 with a clear mandate: make nine decades of cyber-physical expertise impossible to overlook. The 20×30 island exhibit — only their second year on the ISC West floor — established an immediate visual authority with its arched portal and glowing canopy that positioned M.C. Dean alongside the most recognizable names in physical security.
The four simultaneous product demo zones eliminated the need for a single narrative. Visitors self-selected their entry point — Vision AI, IoT Access Control, Mobile Credentials, or Lifecycle Management — and encountered a team ready with deep technical knowledge. InfraLink Pass, launched to the world for the first time at this event, added a genuine “new news” anchor that generated media coverage and drove repeat booth visits throughout all three exhibit hall days.
The Executive Customer Forum, held in conjunction with the exhibit, represented a qualitative leap from the prior year: a private, facilitated gathering where Julaine Simmons and the M.C. Dean leadership team engaged directly with enterprise security decision-makers — turning the Las Vegas convention floor into a relationship-building environment that extended well beyond the exhibit itself.
