Case Study

Alibi Security · ISC West 2026

Four product lines, live cameras above each. Alibi built a showroom, not a stand.

ISC West is where security integrators decide what they will sell next year, and they decide by touching it. Alibi’s 20 × 30 island at the Venetian Expo put each of its four solution lines on its own backlit station — a lightbox header, a row of working cameras, a 65-inch screen and a counter — under a white perimeter header and a light-wood palette that made the whole thing read as one calm, well-lit place to talk business.

Selling to the people who sell

Alibi does not sell cameras to end users. It sells a portfolio — on-premise video, cloud video surveillance, cloud access control and remote monitoring — to dealers and integrators who resell it and bill their customers every month. The message on the LED wall said it plainly: build recurring revenue for your business. That is a different pitch from “look at our new camera,” and it needs a different booth.

An integrator at ISC West wants to see the hardware, see the software behind it, and understand how the pieces fit — Brivo for access, Eagle Eye for cloud video, Alibi’s own Vigilant line on premise. The brief for the 20 × 30 was to make that portfolio legible from the aisle and demonstrable at the counter: four lines, four stations, each one self-explanatory before a rep says a word, in a hall where every neighbour is shouting.

01

The Four Stations

The back wall is four identical modules in a row: a tall backlit lightbox naming the line and its partner logos, a lit wood-look shelf with the actual cameras mounted on it, a 65-inch screen running that line’s software, and a counter with storage below. On-Premise Video, Cloud Video Surveillance, Access Control & Visitor Management, Remote Video Monitoring — an integrator can read the whole portfolio from the aisle and walk to the one they came for.

02

Cameras That Work

Every camera on every shelf was powered and live, feeding the screen beneath it. The demo is not a slide deck; it is the booth watching itself. The Vigilant tower in the corner goes further — three rows of cameras under Capture Color 24/7, Active Deterrence and Built-in AI Analytics, so a dealer can compare the hardware tiers side by side.

03

The LED Wall

A video wall on the left tower carries the business case — Build RMR for YOUR business, cloud backup, system health monitoring — over a backlit panel of the integrated-solutions partners: Brivo, Eagle Eye, Avigilon, Milestone and the rest. The station modules sell the product; this wall sells the reason to carry it.

04

The Mission Wall

The end wall is the only saturated surface in the booth: a deep-blue gradient with a radar-ring graphic and the mission statement in white, the four solution lines listed beneath it. It gives the far aisle a reason to look, and it hides the storage room — the door sits flush in the graphic, hardware and all. Above it, a white hanging sign with the wordmark on every face marks the booth from across the hall.

05

Wood, White and Warm Light

Security halls default to black and neon. Alibi’s booth is white walls, pale maple-look counters and shelves, white carpet, white stools — and warm LED strips under every counter and shelf, so the structure glows at floor level. The effect is a product showroom rather than a trade stand, and a calmer place to spend twenty minutes.

Two-Sided Stations

The station wall is double-sided. On the aisle face, the same four lightboxes repeat with a screen under each, so the booth demonstrates outward as well as inward — a passer-by sees live video without stepping in. The white perimeter header ties all four sides together, ALIBI on each face, and the cross-aisle corner gets the reception counter with a backlit dimensional logo on both exposed sides.

Built to be repeated

The station module is the idea: one lightbox, one camera shelf, one screen, one counter, and the booth is as many of them as the footprint allows. That is what made it easy to reconfigure for Alibi’s later shows in the same year. Structure, eight-plus-one screens, lightbox graphics, mission wall, reception counter, bar tables and stools, padded carpet, freight, install and dismantle with an on-site supervisor — all on one fixed all-inclusive price, staged in the shop before it shipped to the Venetian.

If the buyer needs to touch the product, build the booth around the product.

Live hardware on lit shelves, a screen under each, a counter to close on. Pure Exhibits designs, fabricates and installs 20 × 20 to 20 × 40 and larger custom islands for security and technology brands at ISC West, GSX, ESX and shows nationwide — structure, screens, lighting, graphics and flooring included, on one fixed, transparent price.
