Seven Booths at RSAC 2026. What We’d Build Differently for 2027.

Last March our team installed seven exhibits across Moscone’s halls in the same move-in window — inlines, islands, a hanging-sign debut, a booth whose whole argument was color. Here is what the floor rewarded, what it ignored, what the dock and the union clock actually cost, and the four things we’d tell anyone planning RSA Conference 2027. With the builds, the walkthrough video, and the numbers.

01 · The floor

RSAC is an evaluation, not a spectacle

More than 44,000 people and 600-plus exhibitors moved through Moscone during RSA Conference 2026. The people in the aisles were CISOs, security architects, threat researchers and federal security leads, and they walk the hall the way they read a vendor’s documentation: quickly, sceptically, looking for the sentence that tells them whether to keep going.

We had seven clients on that floor, from a 10×30 inline to 20×30 islands, and the pattern across all of them was the same one we’ve seen at Black Hat and ISC West: the booths that did well made one claim visible from the aisle and had somewhere to sit down once the claim earned a question. The booths that struggled — ours and everyone else’s — asked a visitor to read before they could decide. On a floor that dense, nobody reads.

Everything below is from our own installs. The security-show playbook covers the general design rules; this is the specific evidence from one show.

Give a qualified buyer a reason to stop, then give them a place where a real conversation can happen. Seven times over, that was the whole brief.

02 · The builds

Four of the seven, and what each one taught us

Different footprints, different halls, different jobs. Each has a full case study; the lessons are the part we’d carry into 2027.

Radware 20x30 island at RSA Conference 2026 with RGB LED gateway arch, built by Pure Exhibits
20×30 Island · Booth S-1627 · South Expo

Radware: the brightest thing in a dark hall

Six product lines to present and a brand that needed to outgrow its previous creative moment without losing its nerve. We built a 10–12 ft RGB LED gateway arch at the island’s entrance and let color do the stopping in a hall where every other security booth performed menace. Lesson: on a floor where everyone is dark, confidence photographs — and the booth kept working on feeds after the hall closed.

Appdome 20x30 island at RSA Conference 2026 with glowing white hanging sign, built by Pure Exhibits
20×30 Island · Booth 754 · South Hall

Appdome: say less, prove more

Four hundred-plus defenses, two product launches and 44 G2 badges — the risk was density, not obscurity. A glowing white beacon overhead handled recognition at hall scale, the G2 wall carried credibility, and a platform-and-bench interior turned attention into seated conversations. Lesson: the argument has to be spatial. Nothing on the booth asked anyone to read a paragraph.

SpyCloud 10x30 inline exhibit at RSA Conference 2026 with a center walkthrough aisle, built by Pure Exhibits
10×30 Inline · Booth S-3338 · South Hall

SpyCloud: an inline that behaves like an island

Identity threat protection is invisible by nature, and SpyCloud had 300 square feet of inline to make it visible. We split the frontage with a center walkthrough aisle so the booth had an interior — matte black for darknet credibility, teal light to direct the eye, wood so humans were comfortable inside it, and the “8 of the Fortune 10” line at the aisle. Lesson: a walkthrough changes an inline’s physics. People entered, lingered and talked instead of glancing past one long wall.

WE3DS 20x20 island at RSA Conference 2026 with overhead rings, orange and white, built by Pure Exhibits
20×20 Island · Open Four Sides · South Expo

WE3DS: a debut built like an incumbent

Twenty-three years as Korea’s insider-risk leader, 20,000-plus systems protected, and no recognition at all on the Moscone floor. We skipped the newcomer phase visually: overhead rings for finding, a coherent motif from ceiling to screen, four simultaneous front doors, and a warm interior that kept buyers seated long enough for an unknown name to become a known one. Lesson: a North American debut needs floor presence before it needs a message.

All four were rentals, fabricated in our Las Vegas facility and pre-built, powered and photo-approved before they went to San Francisco. Two of the four were repeat clients from Black Hat 2025.

03 · On the floor

The Radware island, walked

A rendering shows the intent. The walkthrough shows what the aisle actually saw: the arch from a distance, the demo interior, the meeting space at the back. This is the booth as it stood on day one, not as it was drawn.

The walkthroughs for the other three are on their case study pages. If you want to see how the same fixed-price model handled a 10×30 inline and a four-sided 20×20 in the same week, those are the two to watch.

04 · What Moscone costs

The logistics nobody puts in the rendering

Seven booths in one move-in window at a downtown venue is a scheduling problem before it’s a design problem. Three things about Moscone drive the bill, and all three are decided weeks before the truck leaves Las Vegas.

  1. The dock is a clock.

Freight arrives through city streets to a scheduled dock, and every crate moves to a target time. A booth that arrives at its slot and assembles in the daytime window is a straight-time install; one that misses its slot is an overtime install. We booked seven target times and every booth shipped pre-built and labeled to a drawing so it could go up inside its window.

  2. The halls run on union labor.

The show’s general contractor governs who builds what, and San Francisco rates are among the highest on the circuit. This isn’t a reason to avoid Moscone; it’s a reason to arrive with a build that needs fewer hours. Fabric and extrusion, fewer crates, LED lighting on fewer drops — the freight-by-design choices matter more here than at almost any other venue.

  3. The advance deadline is in February.

Electrical, network and rigging orders close roughly eight weeks out. At a demo-heavy show, the spread between advance and floor rates on power and internet is real money, and the demo stations are the booth. Every one of our seven had its orders filed before the cutoff; none paid floor rate.

Booth space, electrical, drayage, rigging and internet are billed to every exhibitor directly by the show, the venue or its contractor. We can’t put those inside our fixed price and neither can anyone else — what we do is calculate them for the exact booth before the client commits, then file them at advance rates.

05 · For 2027

Four things we’d tell anyone planning RSAC 2027

RSA Conference 2027 runs April 5–8 at Moscone. Our live show page tracks the dates and the advance-order cutoff automatically and lists every booth we offer with its San Francisco price: RSA Conference booth rentals.

01 · DesignOne claim, visible from the aisle

Radware’s was color. Appdome’s was a beacon. SpyCloud’s was a line about the Fortune 10. Decide what yours is before anyone opens a rendering tool, and put the demo behind it, not in front of it.

02 · FootprintBuy the interior, not the frontage

The 10×30 with a walkthrough out-performed its square footage; the 20×20 open on four sides read like a 20×30. The question isn’t how big the booth is; it’s whether there’s somewhere inside it for a security engineer to sit down.

03 · CalendarLock design by early February

Concepts and the fixed price in autumn, layout approval in December, graphics in January, advance orders filed before the February cutoff, booth built and photographed in March. The full timeline is on the show page.

And the fourth: ask any vendor quoting your RSAC booth whether the demo stations will have run, powered, before they reach the floor. Every booth we sent to Moscone stood fully assembled and lit in our facility first, and the client approved photographs of the actual build. At a show where the demo is the booth, the first full assembly should not be happening in South Hall on your move-in day.

What booth sizes work at RSA Conference?

At RSAC 2026 we delivered a 10×30 inline with a walkthrough aisle, 20×20 four-sided islands and 20×30 islands, and all of them produced when the design was built around one visible claim and an interior for conversations. Smaller vendors do well at 10×20 or 10×30 with a hanging sign or a corner; programs where RSA is the primary pipeline event tend to move to 20×30 or 30×30.

When do I need to book a booth for RSA Conference 2027?

RSA Conference 2027 runs April 5–8, 2027 at Moscone Center, with advance orders for electrical, network and rigging closing roughly eight weeks before — early February. Starting in the autumn gives full design freedom; a design locked by early February keeps every show order at advance rather than floor rates.

What does move-in at Moscone Center involve?

Freight arrives through downtown San Francisco streets to a scheduled dock with a target time per shipment, and the halls run on contracted union labor under the show’s general contractor. Pre-built, labeled booths that assemble inside their daytime slot avoid overtime; late freight or on-site assembly problems are what push Moscone installs into the expensive range.

Are the booths shown here rentals?

Yes. All four — Radware, Appdome, SpyCloud and WE3DS — were fixed-price custom rentals fabricated at our Las Vegas facility, pre-built and photo-approved before shipping, with graphics, layout, lighting and finishes designed for each brand on a modular structure underneath.
