The Venetian Expo for ISC West exhibitors

Two levels, two very different buildings. Which one you are on decides what you can build.

ISC West uses the Level 2 expo halls and Hall G on Level 1 of the Venetian Expo. Upstairs, ceilings clear thirty feet and columns are far apart. Downstairs, the ceiling is a little over thirteen feet and columns stand on a tight grid. A booth designed without knowing the level is a booth designed twice. For other Las Vegas venues, see Las Vegas trade show venues, hall by hall.

What it suitsFlown signs, tall structures, double decks where the show allowsLow, wide booths; heavy equipment; presence through light and screens

Figures are from the Venetian’s published hall specifications. Escalators connect Hall G with Halls A and B. Show-specific height limits and approvals are in the ISC West exhibitor services kit, and we read both against your booth number before drawing.

Part 2 · Designing for Hall G

A thirteen-foot ceiling is a design brief, not a penalty

Presence without height

Light, screens, edges

With no flown sign, the booth is identified at eye level. Lit structure edges, a strong header within the limit and screens placed where they can be seen down the aisle do the work a sign would do upstairs.

The column is part of the booth

Every thirty feet

On a thirty-foot grid most islands contain a column. We wrap it into a demo tower, a storage core or a screen wall, and use the power it carries, instead of designing around a hole in the floor plan.

Power from the column

Plan the clusters around it

Because power comes from the columns, demo stations near them cost less to feed. The layout puts the hungriest hardware closest to the supply.

Part 3 · Designing upstairs

Height is available. So is the competition for it.

What the Level 2 halls allow
  • Flown signs, subject to show approval and the official rigger
  • Tall towers and headers within the show’s height rules
  • Double decks and enclosed rooms on qualifying islands, with plans submitted to the show and venue
  • Overhead power drops landing inside walls or towers
What we check first
  • The show’s height and structure limits for your booth type
  • Neighbouring signs and sightlines from the main aisles
  • Where overhead drops land in your space
  • Sign weight, hang points and the rigging deadline
Part 4 · Freight and labour

Freeman’s docks, your target window

Material handling

Freeman, by weight

Freeman is the exclusive material-handling provider at ISC West and bills by hundredweight. Crated, lighter freight delivered in its window is the cheapest freight on this floor.

Target windows

Arrive in your slot

Move-in is targeted by booth position. Our crated booths travel across town from our Las Vegas facility, timed to the slot rather than queued from another state.

Labour

Contractor and EAC rules

Freeman is the official labour contractor. If you use your own builder, they file as an exhibitor-appointed contractor with the show and the venue. Our crews file as your EAC, so the paperwork and the hours are ours.

Questions about the Venetian Expo

Venue FAQs

How tall is the ceiling in Hall G?
About thirteen feet five inches, according to the Venetian’s published specifications. The Level 2 halls are about thirty-two feet five inches.
Can we have a double-deck booth at ISC West?
Only in the Level 2 halls, on a qualifying island, with plans approved by the show and the venue. There is no room for one under Hall G’s ceiling.
Is heavy equipment a problem?
Hall G has no floor-load limit; the Level 2 halls are rated at 250 lb per sq ft. Very heavy displays are easier downstairs, provided they fit under the ceiling and through the doors.
Who is the official contractor at the Venetian Expo for ISC West?
Freeman handles general services, labour and exclusive material handling for ISC West, and Freeman Transportation is the official carrier. Other providers are listed in the exhibitor services kit.
Does Pure Exhibits work at the Venetian Expo regularly?
Yes. We are based in Las Vegas, build in our own facility here, and have built ISC West booths at the Venetian Expo for Alibi, Genea, M.C. Dean and Ambient.ai.
